In order to implement the guidance and spirit of the General Secretary to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation and comprehensively promote the strategy of rural revitalization, and actively respond to the call of the state about "poverty alleviation and intellectual development first", Hubei Red Cross Foundation and social forces jointly carried out the donation activity of "Passing on the fragrance of books and going with love" to schools in rural areas of the province. Recently, the labor union of the China Bester Group joined hands with the Hubei Red Cross Foundation to hold a book donation ceremony of "Passing on the fragrance of books and going with love" in Xiantao No. Primary School, and Bester donated nearly 2,000 books to Xiantao No. 2 Primary School, including "Romance of The Three Kingdoms", "Water Margin", "Aesop's Fables" and other famous books for primary and secondary school students. Wang Zilong, the representative of Hubei Red Cross, Zhu Dunhai and Zuo Guilin the chairman and vice chairman of the labor union of Bester, leaders from Xiantao education bureau and Xiantao No. 2 Primary School attended the donation ceremony.

At the ceremony, the student representatives of Xiantao No. 2 Primary School put on red scarves for the guests, and President Xiong Guangming extended thanks to China Bester Group and the Hubei Red Cross Society. Hubei Red Cross Foundation awarded Bester the medal of "Passing on the fragrance of books and going with love" charity activities, and Xiantao No. 2 Primary School also issued a donation certificate to the Group.

Xiantao No. 2 Primary School is a national reading demonstration base in Hubei Province. It strives to build a scholarly class and has emerged a large number of students who love reading. This donation will contribute to develop good reading habits among students, make parent-child reading a trend through the interaction between home and school, and drive the construction of scholarly families in Xiantao.
